The Indian Health Care Improvement Act has been permanently reauthorized. If you’re a Native American receiving healthcare from Indian Health Services, you’ll see improvements in your care, including cancer screenings, long-term care, dialysis, mental & behavioral health care, and Indian veteran care. Also, Native Americans will not face a penalty for not buying health insurance.
